The chemical engineer Andrea Mishell Rosado Moncayo, a student of the Masters in Climate Change of ESPOL, shared a report of her learning, work and results obtained in her short stay at the University of Ghent and University of Antwerp of Belgium.
The student stayed from Wednesday, April 3 until Thursday 19 at the University of Ghent, where she was trained to prepare the samples of gastroenteropods for subsequent analysis of heavy metals, this training has been in the laboratory of Applied Ecology and Environmental Biology directed by Peter Goethals.
The analysis of determination of heavy metals in the samples was made at the University of Antwerp, for which the student moved to the city of Antwerp from April 22 to 10 where she was trained to perform the aforementioned analysis, this activity was in the facilities of the SPHERES laboratory, where she works with Steven JoosenSteve Joseph, technician in charge of the laboratory.
On July 12, the student Andrea Rosado shared her work with a group of pre-grade students of ESPOL, where she offered a talk in the morning.
