Steve Lyon, Frido Reinstorf, Petra Schneider, Long Tuan Ho, and Raymundo Rodriguez Tejeda attended the World Water Week, an international annual conference highlighting the importance of sustainable water resource development, for a presentation of the WATERMAS project to participants of this conference.
World Water Work ran from August 26 through 29. In addition to the WATERMAS experts, Master’s student Rolf Lelieveld presented on his completed exchange with Cuenca University in Ecuador. The presentations were applied as a showcase, which gives an ideal format to give a project overview within 45 minutes.
The moderation was done by Steve. Frido presented an overview of the project and Raymundo, Long and Petra gave the expert perspectives on the base of justifying case studies, which were mainly parts of finalized Master thesis projects done during the student exchanges within the WATERMAS project and Rolf presenting himself.
At the end of the session, a 15 min podium discussion was carried out. The showcase was well received and stimulated good discussion and questions from the audience.
