Mobility of Frido Reinstorf and Petra Schneider to ESPOL, Guayaquil.
Visit at the partner university with intensive courses on climate change for students, university members and participants from companies and consulting, participation at colloquia relating to climate change and water management, stakeholder meetings with talks and discussions, workshops with the project members relating to the project aims (quality plan, etc.), individual and group consultations relating the project management, excursions to the water power station and research objects relating to the project aims; the stay was divided into two parts: the first from 23/07/-26/07/18 was used to work with the partners on the project to fulfill the project aims; the second part from 27/07/-16/08/18 was used to get an insight view into the socio-economic conditions of the people, to get information about the water supplying aspects of the large cities at the current state and the practical problems as well as the problems of shrinking glaciers caused by climate change and the important impacts regarding to the drinking water supply in the future. The costs first part including the flights is applied to reimburse by the project, the costs of the second part are applied to reimburse by the UAM in the sense of a co-financing in connection with my research semester, which was approved by my home institution UAM to promote my research activities.
