Mobility of Josue Brito to Ghent University, Belgium

The student prepared his the MSc. Thesis (i.e. data analyses, preparation of figures, maps and tables, writing of the different chapters, etc.) and drafted an article where the results of the MSc thesis are presented. He prepared and presented a talk on the MSc. thesis with the title “Inter-comparison of Two Distributed Hydrological Models Simulating a Medium Size Catchment”. He attended the Water Quality and Ecology Symposium in the research institute of Deltares in Delft, The Netherlands and the Data Science Hackathon with Google Earth Engine in the research institute of Deltares in Delft. He participated in field sampling campaigns where field methodologies were learned and practiced and worked with doctoral students for the classification of macroinvertebrates. Methodologies on how to process the samples were learned and identification of the macroinvertebrates was practiced. He attended a Ph.D. defense at the Ghent University.
